12. Designate a place for drinks. Borrow the idea of a bar cart for your outdoor space. You won’t want to keep drinks there all the time, but having a designated spot and some accessories on hand, including a sink to chill drinks and bar tools, means you’re ready to go when it’s time to grab things. A bar cart can also double as a table or counter when it’s not in use for drinks.
Closed cabinets will allow you to keep some glassware and cutlery as well as any barware outside. To make it easier to handle whatever you bring in from the kitchen, consider keeping a weatherproof tray handy.
If space is tight, look for other possible options when it’s time to entertain: the end of a table, the top of a storage cabinet, or even a planter bench.
