House owners request. “Our clients are a young, lovely young family looking for a functional and durable space with color, warmth and jobs.” “With two small children, they needed a closed storage space and an open -to -win storage space for elements such as their car and the car seat. We lay the Hardy materials such as the nickel gap panels, a seat of steel walnut, easy -to -clean fabric and an external internal area carpet that would stand to test time and stand up to muddy feet.”
Mudroom storage features. “It was important for our customers to be functional clay, but do not lack style and beauty,” says Pov. “We have chosen a dedicated seat design with functional drawers for elements such as shoes and winter accessories. We have come up with a solid walnut seat for contrast and additional durability. We chose to paint the Benjamin Moore sea star for MillWork, which is soothing pop but rich in color and gesture of our customers’ love for the Mediterranean.”
Other special features. “We have developed classic patterns in youthful colors with a neutral background and warm texture, all sponsored by the inclusion of the love of our customers into the shapes of the Mediterranean with the New England scene,” says Pov.
Designer’s advice. “Knowing this young family will ultimately grow, it was important to think about the flow of space and its ability within two to five years,” says Pov. “Ensure that they have sufficient storage for additional shoes, and the winter equipment and backpacks ultimately were important.”
The moment “uh”. “Given the current doors and windows, there was no opportunity for closed storage and stature, which we felt that this family needed,” says Pov. “We were able to locate a cavity in the Mudroom ground plan, which was ideal for a functional wardrobe. This space allowed us to keep the blood circulation open between all entrances but gave our customers a place to hide coats and diaper bags when they are not in use.”
