The last weekend was one of the weekends full of the soul that reminds me of why I love simple moments, beautiful spaces, and a good time with the family. Sometimes, the best weekends are not packed with major plans, but they are full of deliberate small joys – such as wandering through ancient trade. The weekend started with a trip to Farmer’s Gray’s Vintage Mercantile at Battle Creek, Michigan. If not, let me tell you – this place is an absolute dream. It is located inside an old school, it is a haven for ancient lovers.

The moment you enter, I received you with the most wonderful energy, as if the walls themselves could tell stories about the past treasures. Each piece was coordinated very beautifully, and design? Certainly to perfection. Every time I visit, I find myself saying, why don’t I come here often? Because really, if you are looking for comfortable and unique discoveries to fill your home with personality and magic, this is the place. Ancient linens, adjacent forests, and soft colors – each corner is a source of pure inspiration, and I left feel a refreshing creatively (and with some treasures on hand, of course!).

We are now back to the beginning of a new week, and I am grateful for the simple joys that make life feel full. Old treasures, the wonders of nature, and the time it spends well-what is more than that can a comfortable loving heart require? I hope the weekend is full of beautiful little moments as well.
Let’s carry this warmth next week. For more daily inspiration, you can always find here.
xx,
Liz Mary
