The final candidates for the thirty -ninth DULUX Color Awards have been announced!
A pioneering committee in the industry has chosen 88 projects of approximately 500 posts representing the best color use through commercial and public projects, hospitality, workplace, retail and installation trade, multi -banking projects, drawing and students in Australia and New Zealand.
Topics and trends of the final contestants this year include colored ceilings and distinctive wall treatments.
“Judges have noticed the strength of the interior surfaces to block colors, as well as the bold use of murals in retail and studios environments,” says Andrea Lucina Ur, Color -and Communications Manager.
Burgundy, Gold-Yellows and Sage Grens Colors lead the most daring paintings in private residential fields.
Projects are very vibrant color, with some full rooms with saturated tones, such as berry colors in Clarion Claarmon from Wowowa Architecture, and Coronation House by Brunddon Studio.
Other projects offer more totally across the color, but for the dramatic effect on an equal footing, including MT Eden Garden House of PAC Studio with yellow stored for golden glow, and House Elonra by Studio DOHERTY, which highlights the statement of the statement.
Multiple “modern neutral” projects are explored – soft colors enough to form a calming background – instead of safer shades of black and white white.
Kennedy Nolan explores this starting point at the Rosherville house, which marries warm wood with chocolate and blue blue.
Andrea says: “There is such a technician in the color graduation that we see in both foreign and internal women, to the extent that they were all seen in the exact specifications, materials, landscapes and lights of light throughout the day in the accurate specifications.”
The DULUX Color 39 Awards will be announced at an exclusive event at the National Exhibition in Victoria on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
