The new rimless shower with a custom, half-inch-thick frameless glass enclosure gives the room a light, airy feel. “The shower they had before wasn’t rimless,” Brian says. “All the fixtures were a little low. The husband is 6-foot-5 and the wife is about 5-foot-3, so we lowered the handheld shower significantly for her and the shower head higher for him. They also didn’t have any shampoo ports or a footrest before.” Solid brass fixtures in a satin bronze finish add warmth and coordinate with the other finishes in the room.
The same tiles are used to cover the upper part of the walls. Below ¾-Inches of stair molding are 12″ x 24″ Mysterious White Marble Tiles. “The price of the Mysterious White Diamond seems to be really good, and it has a certain warmth to it,” Brian says. “That warmth is consistent with the warmth you see in the Taj Mahal.”
The pale beige hexagon stone floor tiles continue seamlessly into the bathroom. “The walls are neutral, so I wanted to mix textures and materials to add more interest and depth,” says Brynn.
