Our annual beach vacation is coming up, and I’m so happy because it’s the first time in four years that I’ll have some moments to (somewhat) relax. My daughter, who is now four, has reached an age where she no longer needs my constant attention. It’s like we’ve opened up a new level of parenting or something.
She is more independent now, engaging in her activities for longer periods of time, and often prefers the company of her little friends to having me by her side at every moment. This extra freedom is both weird and fun (oh, motherhood!)
Needless to say, I’m especially excited for our upcoming trip. To take full advantage of that, I hope I can improve my beach game this season, just a little bit. I don’t want to jinx it, but I almost feel like I’ll be able to finish a real book. With pages, not with pictures! Grandma! Here’s the perfect personal list of “things to bring to the beach.”
For example, this sunscreen is a must. Everyone cares about it, and for good reason. It’s from a K-beauty line – it’s very affordable and goes on really smoothly. I have a good idea that dew mist gives you the perfect beachy glow. And this jacket is an affordable version of Jenni Kayne’s version that has a borderline cult following. Don’t tell me, but it’s just as beautiful, as far as I’m concerned. I also already own these sunglasses – they’re under $20 and they’re 10/10.
Happy beach day everyone <3 (Note: keep scrolling - there's a tour below for the little ones too)

NOTE – It didn’t fit the vibe of this mood board, but we bought this ice cream sand set for our trip to the DR a few months ago and it was a huge hit
