Have you ever felt that you are “stuck” in a house that does not work well for your family, or you feel that everything needs to be changed? You feel frustrated, exhausted, or even frustration in the place of starting changes that may mean that you may love your home … maybe not everything, but I imagine that part of this image is echo with you, and there is hope! There are things you can do, the changes you can make that will help you not only, but love the house you have.

This image taken from our home last fall makes me smile (Do you see the delivery of the Amazon?). This is the view that I have from my new office, warm evening lighting and beautiful fall leaves that caught my attention. It is a simple brick house with some great features, and we love it. It is also an older house and needs some work. Have you noticed the lost brick at the bottom of the window? This entire section must be replaced. If you have an old house, you are aware of this endless list of repairs … but that’s good, we love our home.

When we bought this house, this came with some great features and some unrestricted features ~ like the background of the eighties. But I was determined to plant our home in the style of the English country house, which I love so much. So I did what I can. The more you invested in your home (cleaning, organization, reform and improvement), the more emotionally and satisfied, the more you are, the more your home for you, your family and friends. If you are around the blog/channel, you will hear and see removal of the wallpaper and the weapons sofa in the English language, which together made a remarkable difference in the comfort of this room and fun now!
When you love your home and make it the best it can be, it inspires your life in unexpected ways.

I did not know when to take the spice shelf for the first time in the picture above from the savings store that this would be the first of three repetitions of our kitchen. I knew that he had given us a place to store spices so that they would not be left behind!

When browsing an ancient store one day, I encountered this matching shelf. It was more beautiful than the previous spice shelf and the shelf was wide enough to hold Spode Spice ~ Now this was beautiful! In addition, the mirror made the kitchen look larger and brighter. I was overwhelmed with this little improvement and I had no idea what the Lord was going on in his mind in our kitchen after years …

This kitchen still amazes me. We never get tired of that and have done a lot of great memories that cook together, and share meals with friends. The waiting was, and the passage during the operation is worth it!
Still … I can frustrate the time that the process can take! If you get Antsy sometimes, as I do, here are some encouraging ideas:
Change your home ~ Take action!
Taking action through cleaning, getting rid of drugs, and regulation is within your control! By focusing on what you can change, it reduces waiting discipline. Taking action is within your control, it makes waiting easier. The work procedure brings hope. You know this feeling when you stand from an area that led you to madness and it is better?! You may have improved the job by simplifying the things stored there, or may have simply repainted a small wall. But improvement breathes life in your loved heart at home?! Changing your home in simple ways gives you new ideas. Sometimes we can try new things without buying anything, or re -view. Rearranging the furniture. Hanging art in a different place. Reflection on the purpose of the room or corner of the room. Sometimes, these small (or large) experiences will solve the problems in creative ways that lead to a more functional and fun house. This is the result of the third number above. While trying things, you can discover a new way to do things, a new way to live changing the choice of your furniture, planning your room, or your color scheme. This is a fun part of the home making trip. You “practice” literally the best way to live in your home! By practicing new and better ways to live in your home, you will develop your design muscle. This is a natural result of your efforts. If you “play with your home”, you will learn more about what you want, what fits entertainment, and how you and your family love to live. Conducting all these ways will save you money. Do what you can with what you have and experience in your home will give you the data you need to make enlightened design decisions. This will reduce guessing and errors that you may have in the design decision in a room without practicing “how you and your family love to live.

There is an incredibly rewarding thing about turning space with your own hands. I love your home by choosing work within your borders at that time, money or ability.
Do this to others. Do it for you. Do it for the house, but do that!
