Who’s ready to add a little fun to their Halloween decor with a cute Sherpa ghost pillow? It’s super easy to make and only requires a few simple supplies to make. The best part about this project is that it’s made on a pillow cover so you can use any pillow stuffing you already have.
Cute Sherpa Ghost Pillow
Supplies Needed to Make Your Own Sherpa Ghost Pillow
White pillowcase (preferably cotton pillowcase)
Sherpa fabric
scissors
Felt and glue
Black felt
Templates provided below
black mark
piece of paper
Draw the outline of the ghost.
Turn the sherpa fabric over and use a black marker to trace the ghost image. If necessary, print the template onto 11″ x 17″ paper so the image is 14″ tall and trace it.
Cut out your ghost character
Use scissors to cut the black line you drew.
Stick your ghost on your pillow
Once you have cut out the ghost shape, place a piece of paper between the inside of the pillowcase to prevent the glue from running through the fabric to the other side. Cover the entire back side of the sherpa ghost with felt.
Once the fabric is covered, carefully flip the ghost over and place it on the pillowcase. Press firmly to adhere the glue to the pillowcase and allow to dry.
Add black felt eyes to your ghost.
Once the glue is completely dry, cut out two oval shapes from black felt and apply felt glue to the back. You can check out this post for other eye templates.
Place the eyes and then press the glue side down towards the top of the sherpa fabric on the ghost.
Allow your eyes to dry completely. Once dry, add a pillow to your pillow and enjoy your new cute friend on the couch!
Here are the templates so you can make your own cute and fun ghost sherpa pillow.
