It’s been particularly busy behind the scenes here as I’m in the midst of two major (and exceptionally beautiful, if I do say so myself) design projects. But I’ve missed this little corner of the internet sorely – it’s good to be back! There are so many beautiful things I’m excited to share in the not-so-distant future, but for now I wanted to talk about Thanksgiving decor.
I’ve had this post prepared and prepared in my mind for weeks, but haven’t had a chance to put it together yet. We’re officially celebrating here in Canada this weekend and the timing couldn’t be more perfect because I need some family time, plus a little R&R. This post is a little late for my Canadian friends (sorry!) but I know a lot of you won’t be celebrating for a few more weeks, so I wanted to share it just the same.
Note: More Thanksgiving decor here
My mother will be hosting this year, and she always does an exceptional job, but I find myself daydreaming about being able to do the same for my extended family one day. I’m so obsessed with all the beautiful little details that go into making a feast like this, I thought I’d share some of the things I’ll include in my own Thanksgiving feast.
Here are some Thanksgiving decor pieces that I love. I’m particularly fascinated by the fact that nothing seems *too* above the main theme, yet they are equally distinctive in their own ritual. Most of them can be used daily, but I like the idea of investing in a few basic items (turkey gravy boat, anyone?) and bringing them out season after season.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone <3
