A professional path for the architecture of Elizabeth Grasiolo was revealed when it was accepted on the Cooper Union architecture program in New York City. At that time, she was not sure what she wanted to do, but within a few months in the Foundation Foundation, her path was set. “After the first semester, everything has been clicked,” says Grezolo. “I started seeing the world differently, from new views, and I loved it completely.”
After graduation, she joined the team at Cicognani Kalla, where Ann Kala was an early and influential guide. Calla helped form Graziolo’s understanding while moving from theory to real design. When her skills were sharpened, Kali’s instructions were also prepared for what a woman faces in the profession.
Graziolo spent nearly two decades in Peter Pennoyer Architects, where she worked in a wide range of projects, from home rebuilding operations to residential developments. Prepare for her next challenge, she decided to go out alone and established Yellow House engineers in 2020.

As a owner and company leader, Graziolo seeks to enhance cooperation and create space as employees can share various marine views. With offices in Manhattan and Miami, the company is referred to to reviving historical real estate, and to reveal the unique elements to shed light on them again.
Regardless of the city of Graziolo at any specific moment, it is ready to capture interesting things to enhance its creative process. “I do not use one specific method, notice it,” you notice. “I take a lot of pictures, animation fees in my drawing brochure, and collect things or pictures that I find inspiring.”
Today, Elizabeth Gratolo joins the fifth Friday!

1. Sunset
This segment captures deep inspiration extracted from sunset monitoring – a reminder of the ability of nature to inform and raise the design. The image, taken with my iPhone from my apartment, envelops the vibrant dynamic forms of sunlight. These natural colors have become the main mood council that led a newly project. Warm, incandescent tones inspired the choice of a copper -skinned mirror from Beatrice Serre, while sensitive rain drops on the window base affected the choice of Chandelier Lindsey Adelman. Finally, the liquidity and depth of the water was informed of the inauguration of the DE Gournay in nature, and the completion of a harmonious interaction between nature and design.

I always find this image very inspiring on many levels, from creating it to materials and finishes.

The artwork by Alia Ali is a deep source of inspiration. There is a mysterious quality of this piece that calls for an endless interpretation. For me, the interaction between the shape and the shape, which is brilliantly presented in the context of a fluid and dynamic, is explored, leaving the viewer’s imagination to fill the narration.

4. Nature
We often inspire inspiration from nature. On the above slide, we took inspiration from many Central Park photos that inspired the creation of a dedicated mural by Dean Barger for 200 East Building.

I am completely fascinated by the damage of the door – it is a global advantage that exists through cultures, and often carries symbolic meanings. I like to explore their designs and imagine stories or intentions behind them. This is from South America, and it includes an elephant box, a design that I have not seen anywhere else. I would like to think that it reflects the desire of the home owner to wealth and prosperity.
