Fall is officially here, so I’ve put away my summer decor and pulled out some fall stuff. I try to mix it up every year, using things I use over and over again. I don’t go out and buy everything new, but I use what I have in clever ways. I try not to overdo it, but it’s nice when the season starts to cool down to add some of that fall feel to the house. The colors of fall are warm and inviting and make the house feel cozy too. Come on in for some fall decor ideas!

I start on the front porch with simple black lanterns filled with orange pumpkins and a beautiful fall bow.
This year, I filled my door basket with some fall supplies I had on hand and added another pretty fall bow. It’s simple and easy!
The living room is easy. All I do is add something to a vase, add some fall decor, and I’m done.
I got a beautiful blue owl a few years ago and it’s perfect for fall. The vase is cute and textured and those fake berries add a fun fall touch. This brown bowl is one of the ones I made in pottery class when I lived in Birmingham and I still have two of them. I love the colors, perfect for fall!
Just a touch of fall on this glass table is perfect.
I kept the entryway table simple this year, adding just a few fall touches.
Those white pumpkins under the glass always make me happy to see them.
I placed them on top of a textured green faux wreath.
Hello Autumn, with some preserved oak leaves and that cute little oil painting I took years ago in Round Top, Texas, it really says Autumn to me.
Another look at the white faux pumpkins on a white cake stand. These are my favorite ways to decorate with what I have on hand.
These two pottery pieces look like they came together, but they didn’t. I can’t even remember where I got the pot that holds the paper, but it’s beautiful with this pottery piece that I’m sure came from an antique sale. I just added some long textured sticks inside the vase.
Moving into the dining room and setting the table for fall is something I look forward to. I have all these dried hydrangeas in bright green, so they make a beautiful centerpiece with their soft green shade.
I’ve never used them in this basket before, but I love the combination. I bought this basket from Kohl’s a couple of years ago and love it. The round basket is from Homegoods, and I definitely get a lot of use out of it.
My table setting consists of a bunch of fall colored plates that I’ve had for a while (again from Homegoods), along with some brown and white dinnerware that I bought from a reader in Birmingham a while back. I love bringing them out this time of year. I’ve had those placemats for a while too. The faux black bamboo flatware came from Wayfair and I’ll link what I can below.
The fall aisle on the table and buffet is simple yet beautiful.
I still love these bamboo lanterns that I bought from HSN, but unfortunately they are no longer available. I found a similar set that I will be listing on Wayfair. The lanterns I bought are the same size, but these come in two sizes.
I love a nice table, don’t you? We enjoy seeing the table arranged according to the seasons, even Mark likes it arranged.
It’s definitely autumn right now.
I love this glass vase that I have had for a long time and also filled with dried hydrangeas. It definitely makes a perfect fall flower display.
A quick look at the entire dining room from the stairs. I still love this rug and will link it here from Esale Rugs.
To keep it simple on the shelf, all that’s needed is a blue chart with orange leaves accented with blue and white.
I like to keep things fairly simple with most of my seasonal decor. I still enjoy my Staffordshire bulldogs that my mother-in-law passed down to me. I also still love my gold candlesticks, and the cordless, rechargeable bulbs. They’re on sale now for $69 a pair, which is a great deal.
That’s it for this year’s fall decor, and I hope you’ve gotten some inspiration for doing some things in your home as well. Christmas and the holidays will be here before we can sleep, and I’m not ready for that yet! I’ll be enjoying these fall touches for a few more weeks. Have a great week!
