We had a ice storm last night until morning, so Calvin was a “ice day” outside the school. The roads were wet this morning, so Jeff still went to work and Marshall went to his university class. I made a slow morning, and the day when he felt it should be a kind of day! I ended up completing the work, though, and it took some time to do some meals as well. I do not plan everything in detail, but make some nutrients ready to provide lunch and dinner quickly and healthy. I made a group of rice and tried some fried beans for the first time.
I started working on some organization with only one stairs, the unwanted stairs in the kitchen, and now I am excited to do more! In any case, here are the four things for this week …
What I read
Watching with my interest in memorizing the books, I was reading nature captured: 150 years of nature printing. It is an excellent book on all kinds of making plants, insects, and even some animals. It covers a wide range of techniques of blue patterns to printing ink to relief methods. Did you know that nature printing was not only used for scientific research and beauty? It was also used to add complex details to the US money, which was difficult for fake to repeat.
It is a huge book that contains beautiful pictures, many similar copies of the size of life from stored samples, and some interesting information nuggets.
What I see
Geoff and I enjoy watching the offers that highlight the beauty and adventure of the world, and we have recently stumbled through Wunderlus: the most beautiful walking paths in Europe on Amazon. I share the bad first … the host is loved, but it will not light fire in the world with his personality and very terrible digital music. It really does not matter, because the scene is very beautiful, and the small towns that the host extends through it is interesting to get to know it. Bradley (from Lionly Planet) loves to take time away from walking long distances to meet people in cities, listen to their stories, and break bread with them. I love his approach to travel and the experience of other cultures. It is a great show when you just want to see great landscapes and discover the corners of the world that you may want to visit.
I don’t like
“You are what you are doing. Put another way …
If you are thinking about becoming an artist all the time, you are a thinker.
If you dream of becoming an artist, you are a dreamer.
If you read about becoming an artist, you are a reader.
If you study art, you are studying.
If you make dishes, vacuum or reject your home in order to avoid making art, you are a cleaning crew.
However, if you appear every day and do some art, you are an artist. “
Mary Joe Hoffman, still: the art of observation
What I am doing
This week was not related to choosing new projects to work on because I did not feel the highest on the weekend until Monday, and Marshall was at home from school and work. It was this type of week in which I focus only on the daily things that I have to do. Write, paint, perform my participation on social media, respond to emails, follow up with customers, and do necessary business things such as reconciling my bank account and redirect tax documents to my accountant.
Sometimes, exciting projects are part of my work and at other times, my job is about overcoming British women just like every other working line.
