Let’s talk everything about how to draw suede like materials … it’s much easier than you think!
Hello sweet and happy friends!
Is it freezing where you are ?? Oh my God, we have the time of this winter. We have spoiled our very moderate winter last year (I loved it!) And I don’t enjoy this very cold winter at all. Luxe! I don’t even want to leave my home. Boo.
And he reached the snow again last night. I think this makes 3 times this year already ?? Every time – snow overnight! This is not fun !! I mean, if the matter will fall, then I need this to happen during the day so that I can watch it falls. It is very beautiful. It is strange that you get this a lot and that this cold is this year.
Today I share how to draw suede like materials because I have a belt that I never wear. Mainly because it is a strange color not because I don’t like it. I have nothing to go to.
So I have this belt …
I never wear it because it is a kind of orange. I think a kind of cosmic color. I love this color but now I have no shoes/shoes this color. It should not be identical or anything, but this color is strong does not seem correct with most things.
So I decided on that day (years after she possesses, 5 precisely! Why not ??
I draw everything else, right ??
I have drawn the leather Ottoman …
… leather shoes … (which has turned greatly)
… Vinyl chair …
And multiple fabric chairs over the years!
Such seats for dining room chairs.
And one of the two chairs was drawn.
It’s time now to draw something of suede.
I was not planning to participate in that because I really wanted to draw it so that I could benefit from it. But I thought, I have, I must share this because I am sure that someone else may have the same impasse, right?
The materials you used
Do you prefer shopping on etsy? I have an etsy store too, here!
These are some of my suede shoes and I was thinking that I wanted the belt a shadow similar to this.
I carried the shoe while I was wandering around a shop room as I looked at different paints and chose the chestnut horse …
… and fabric …
I know it seems strange to choose almost the same color of the belt but as you can in the shoes, there is a slight hint of warmth. They are not straight.
I thought I would only need a little chestnut horse …
… but I ended up using about 50-50 of each of them to get the color I wanted.
Fullly frankly, I could use more chestnut horse to get more warmth like shoes. But I decided that I was not necessarily trying to match them exactly, but instead, I go to a neutral shade. The shoes were mainly inspiring and something to overcome it to choose my colors.
I simply ignore it …
… in thin, even coats. I did one coat and then went back to touch as it was not covered as well. A second second coat was not needed.
After I finished serving, I returned to this with the edges of the hairs and made the failed strikes back and forth.
By the way, I love this paper to do the letter and/or draw inside. Keep everything clean!
It is very solid and has a protective movie (shiny on one side, matte on the other hand). And it continues to forever.
I hit him with a hair dryer to dry between the paint.
As it was shown when the Ottoman coating, this paint remains very flexible when used on the skin, etc.
Is this not a wild? I mean, I drew it, but I was still very surprised!
Once you dry completely, I applied a protective layer of beeswax on both sides of the belt.
I am very happy how it appears! Now you will get a lot of use. Yay!
Do you have something that you don’t like ?? Belt, shoes, wallet … or even a piece of furniture ?? Well, you know now, you can draw it!
Install it to save it!
Do you think you will give this attempt ?? I hope so! Let me know if you have questions!
