Happy New Year, friends! Is it too late to say that? It’s been a minute since I was last here, and I didn’t want to jump right back into regular content without wishing you a nice start to 2025 and sharing a little bit of life lately.

We spent Christmas relaxing at home, enjoying all the little moments that make the season special; My daughter’s Santa joy, a slow morning in our pajamas, and more than our fair share of cheese and chocolate. After the holiday, we snuck out with our family to visit my sister in Vancouver, then spent New Year’s on Mount Baker in Washington. The mountains and surrounding area were breathtaking. Healing, even. A really great way to celebrate the new year.
What I packed
{All things are comfortable and warm}
The trip was exactly what we needed to reset and recalibrate. Visiting my sister, spending a few days in the mountains, hiking, and what can only be described as lively nature, made me feel more grounded and hopeful for what was to come.
I hope your vacation is everything you need. Here’s to a fun and magical 2025! Here’s a sneak peek at the past few weeks in photos.
