We renovated our upstairs several years ago and converted our laundry closet into a laundry room. (I’ll find more pictures and post later.) I’m pretty sure there’s been a ton of laundry since the renovation was finished and I’ve recently been thinking about the decorating part. It would be easy to overlook a small and stressful room, but why? I spend hours of my life here!
The Inside approached me about using one of their wallpapers, and this small but powerful spot seemed perfect for the pattern. I used Vert Woodland peel and stick paper and was able to complete the entire job myself. (Well, actually, my husband had to lift me out from behind the dryer one night when I got stuck, but thankfully, there’s no video evidence.) The wallpaper is thick and was easy to remove and reposition when I got off track. I also love a bold pattern that’s easy to match and forgiving when it’s not subtle. (I ended up using five rolls for this project.)
I also ordered some new woven laundry baskets, pulled some art from the basement and added a small lamp.
