On an ice day in February, New Havene Sergey Gerasimino workers presented a special committee for the Wusley Hall in Yale. The committee was a stool that was built for Lili Bugton, who has long been conducting the Yale Simphonian Orchestra. The committee was out of the work that Sergei usually did, but it was not about to pass the opportunity to make a piece of Puton, which he knew and admired for decades.
The stool is expected to go home and return home, Sergey was asked to stay at the ceremony. For his amazement, Maestro Boughton began the ceremony by referring to the stool that Sergey made and asked him to stand on a round of applause – which there were a few wood workers who were my pleasure to suffer. In the audience you really – your stunning podcast – was affected by the moment when I knew that I needed to meet Sergey and learn more about the back story. As is always the case, there is always a lot for the story and we are happy with the help of Sergey in telling it.
