I was very happy to see Kris mentioning “Red thread” in the blog’s comments on Wednesday! It is safe to say, it’s one of my favorite decoration tricks – and something often in Scandinavian houses. I like to present it here on the blog because it is a simple but effective way to create harmony and cohesion in space.
I am not aware of the “red thread”? In short, it comes to choosing some main colors and repeating them all over your home. It should not be exciting – think about bold data such as wall colors, kitchen cabinets or sofa, or only fine touches such as candles, vases, art, pillows, lamps and throwing. Either way, this helps to collect everything together and makes your home feel coherent and calm visually.
This beautiful Swedish apartment is an ideal example, with the blue, blue and yellow sky like chosen tones. Watch how these shades skill skill in every room! My favorite details? White and Plastic white floor. Traditionally, the tiles were far from the reach of many in Sweden, so the floors floors have become a smart alternative to the tiles and affordable. I love seeing this tradition lives in homes today.

I am interested in seeing that the apartment is characterized by the valves itself like the summer in our summer hut. Like this one, we are also exposed and I was thinking about a smart solution to hide it. Any ideas?
By the way, I would like to store Wall Hallway with hooks and bench, but also beautiful!

These final photos offer an ideal opportunity to take a closer look at the painted parking floor that can be easily created with some planning and a lot of paint!
I hope you enjoyed the tour! Is there anything that has emerged for you?
