Listen to your home design needs
Every home has a “voice.” This idea is not new to me and it is a concept that I encountered several years ago. This idea is that every home, your home, has an architectural style. In order for your home to look better inside and outside, it is wise to have an understanding and respect for this style. This does not mean that you should become an expert in all architectural designs, but a broad understanding of the types of home is useful and interesting!

Our small brick house was built in the mid -sixties. The outer part is simple with anxious “Masari” surrounds the windows in the foreground. If this is our permanent house, we will remove these large windows, fill the distance between the new windows and bricks with stone.
Understand the language of your architectural home
Each home has a distinct architectural style (for example, cottage, colonization, mid -century, farm), or sometimes a combination of styles. The feeling of elegance in which your home is designed is important when thinking about renewal. In our area, there is a trend that runs where homeowners stick a modern interface on these bangs. The result is to some extent forced and weapons. The warm tones of the Stark White, and the cotton black cotton were drawn, and all the enchanting character, such as shutters and blocked cotton. There is a place for modern color panels and architecture and it works beautifully on the buildings designed for them. The negative aspect of these modern “updates” is that they will be somewhat dating, and they become bad design decisions.
The awareness and respect of your home’s structure is important for both abroad and the interior. I have become fascinated by learn more about home design inside and outside. Because of this, he gave me these two books for Christmas. I have already enjoyed several evenings through the fire. Learn the names of different patterns and how they were applied to a house from inside and outside.

The role of size and ratio
In interiors, I noticed the importance of size in home decor. Small rooms benefit from lamps, carpets, and restricted artwork to the size of the room. Especially in small rooms, it is important not to use small pieces of small furniture and the raid because they can create a crowded doll. Medium -sized art and lamps feel “right.” Large sofas can also work well in smaller rooms. However, in large rooms, furniture, huge art, lamps, etc., create an uncomfortable space that you feel as if you had come to visit a giant house. One of the best ways to get a comment is good size for your room is through experience and error in addition to studying similar rooms that are attracted to. Furniture, lighting and art should be proportional to the space.

Let the house direct your choices
While learning to listen to your home for what is appropriate in architecture, you will come to “hear” more details such as the right pieces, art, furnishings and colors. How can external materials and natural surrounding areas inform the interior color schemes. Cutting sizes should be compatible with your home style. The house with very high ceilings and the decorative Victorian architecture will call for more decorated pieces, large, detailed oil paintings, decorative furniture or antique furniture. A smaller house will look better with better with the simplest lighter furniture and more clear furniture with brighter lines, etc. … These are general examples, but we hope you will think about the right direction.
Our home brick engineering is homogeneous with a rustic rustic style. We have chosen the colors of the pieces to complete the warm tones of the brick. On the courtyard, we added shutters and screen doors in rural style painted green grassy grassy with ivory trim. It was a great enjoyable project that gave us such a big shift!

Listen to your home
Let me encourage you to back down and monitor your homes before making design decisions. You may only be surprised by what your home says and how work in architecture will become a natural way to improve your home. There is a relief that comes from a house that feels coherent and correctly designed for himself. Your home, every home has a sound and can “tell you” what it needs.
Even next time, take care of yourself,
