Why do I like to collect antique furniture and holdings.

If you are reading my blog for a long time, you know that I love so much to shop in exchange for old and elderly furniture. There has been a significant increase in this market in the past ten years, but I have been shopping this way for a long time. When I first prepared a house and started shopping in the furniture, I heard about the artifacts, but I always thought it was out of the price range. I didn’t think I could withstand real artifacts. Well, allow me to clarify that. I cannot bear those who see them on the fishing fish fish … that invaluable legacy of the centuries -old and deserve hundreds of thousands of dollars. These types of antiques were not in my budget at that time or now.

But I soon discovered that I could bear the costs of old pieces, those pieces produced by furniture from the thirties of the twentieth century, the 1940s and the fifties, which were abundant and appeared in antiques stores and savings stores throughout the country. The Henridon Handon Woods also came from Yardsale as well, at $ 25. It was a natural wood when I bought it and went from black to this beautiful sea blue in our bedroom. It is the perfect place to put on makeup.

I love the color and definitely use the color around our home. This is not furniture, but this old piece is one of my favorite discoveries. These weapons have been $ 25 in Yardsale years ago and I still show them and display them on a glass table in our living room.

It is difficult for family pieces to come in our family, as any of my family has not had much to pass it. I cherish this side table that was produced by the small collective from my grandmother alongside my father. She claimed this one after her death and my father brought her to the house. The mahogoni buffet in the dining room is another classic piece for years. I bought it from the antiques store in Marita Square years ago when there were many antiques stores more than now. I think I paid $ 550 for that, a deal according to today’s criteria for something new of the same quality. If you try to go out to furniture stores and buy new pieces of wood, you will definitely eliminate a wealth on real wood and will not be made as well as these old pieces, mostly.

This hard wooden wood was ancient with wicker doors discovery of the Facebook market and I love it in my office/play room. It carries my printer and playing grandchildren games, which is great to hide things away. I don’t know how old he is, and it’s not old, but he definitely feels ancient lessons.

The old and new mixing was fun for me and I cannot see myself out and buy a completely new room from anything. This does not mean that I will not shop again, but when I do it, it will remain a mixture again and wine. This shopping method has more attractive to me and it will always remain something I want to integrate into my house. The room sings only when it is a mixture of collected elements, not all the brand that escapes again!
